One day at Micheal's, I was on a shopping spree or something. I mean, they have some pretty good deals there and it's hard to leave that place without buying half the store (well, at least for me it is). I was origionaly going in for some stuff for a cosplay I am working on and was wandering around, looking for some other goodies to nab and I stubbled across these. I had seen them several times before and had always thought they were really cute. I mean, tiny canvases. How is that not cool? But, since they are so small, it's like what do you do with them? Well that day, I came up with something.

There are six total canvases, each with the face of my top favorite origional characters of mine. The top row are the three origonals from went my drawing career started out (middle school). They bottom are more recent creations. There are four girls and two boys. I kinda did that for balance?

(Left to right) The top row consists of Pinky, Deamond Reaper, and Soren. The bottom is Anikki, Quirmar (who is an alien), and Lilith (who is a troll).

I plan on connecting them some how so I can display them. I haven't figured out how yet. These were actually hard to make. I kept messing up the placement of the eyes and the skin tones, all of which were hard to fix mind you. I am realy happy with them though and kinda want to do more XD

Onesie Zoo

For my Step Aunt's baby shower, I made her some custom baby onesies! Her theme for the shower was monkeys and safari animals.

The onsies were tied died first. This was my first tie dye exspericence with more than one color and with a specific pattern ( had had a friend help me with the pattern part). I did this during school when we had 'Hippie Days' or whatever the hell that was.

The images are were hand drawn and colored with copic marker before being scanned and then printed onto tranfering paper/iron ons. There were four total but I only decoated two. Since the baby is going to be born in the summer, it might be too hot for him to wear much so, instead of wearing plan white under clothing, he can wear these cute, colored ones! The white ones can be for going under things.

A lot of people liked them and I was satisfied with how this turned out. I was really worried for a while.

Welp. This is the end of my post. Kinda short. Didn't have much to say but wanted to get this out there any way. Next post will be about my mini canvas project!

Got Two Fatty Tats Not One

(WTF?! No matter what I did, this picture always came out side ways! Why do you hate me?)

Cats. Those little pesky animals that we all could do without yet, we all have at least two of them in our homes. Me, I love cats (though I do get annoyed by them...a lot). Their personalities are so intresting and they're just gorgious! That's why I did these paintings.

The one on top is of Kruze and was done at the beggining of the school year. Jabari was done at the end. So this is an intresting 'before and after' thing going on here to see if I have improved...not really. I love both of them dearly, though I wish I had done kruze's eyes a little diffrently. And for Jabari I would have used a lot less white.

So, that annoyign question all the kids in my art class like to ask during idependent study pressentations: If you were to put these on display/sell them, would you keep them as a set? Why yes unorigonal person, I would indeed keep them together. In fact, I kinda would like to continue this and do all the cat's that have been in my life. It would be a collection, the first one I would have ever done. Then forever I will be known as the Cat Lady!!!
